The ICC has announced the new schedule for the 2023 Cricket World Cup. India will host the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup from October 5 to November 19, 2023.

The ICC has revealed the schedule for the ICC World Cup 2023. India will host the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup from October 5 through November 19, 2023. A total of 10 brigades will compete in the next World Cup. In addition to Afghanistan, Australia, England, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Pakistan, and South Africa, India, the host country, has earned direct qualification. These brigades were selected based on their performance in the ICC Cricket World Cup between 2020 and 2023.

Timeline for the 2023 World Cup: Latest Updates

The debut of is the main factor for the match’s new dates between India and Pakistan. If the match had been played on October 15, complex security procedures would have been required. The PCB was contacted by the ICC and BCCI to catalogue two of their group matches, including the game against India at Ahmedabad.

The crucial match between India and Pakistan, originally scheduled to begin on October 15 in Ahmedabad as part of the ICC World Cup, may now be played on October 14.

The event’s first game is scheduled to start on October 5 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup final will be played in the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, according to BCCI Secretary Jay Shah.

The first semifinal will take place at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, while Kolkata’s Eden Auditoriums will host the alternate semifinal.

2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Schedule – Event Locations

A total of 10 locations—Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Dharamsala, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kolkata—will host the events.

The warm-up games will be played in Hyderabad, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram, and Thiruvananthapuram from September 29 to October 3.

Here is a list of India’s conditional schedule for the 2023 World Cup.

Each platoon will play the others first in a round-robin format during the competition. The top four brigades will also advance to the semifinals, where the victors will play in the championship game. On October 8 in Chennai, India will play the defending champions Australia in their opening match of the competition. After that, there will be games against Qualifier 1, South Africa, Qualifier 2, New Zealand, England, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Qualifier Pakistan. On November 19, the event’s championship game will take place in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. The conditional timetable is open to modification, and the ICC will announce the final timetable as we get closer to event.
